Targeting Stocks For 5X to 10X Returns
Dear valued subscriber,
Do these stocks look like investment opportunity of a life time?
Do they come across as deep value stocks that will return 5X to 10X of their price today?
And if you happened to be like me, who used to suck up to every popular investment newsletter that boasts of their proprietary stock ranking methodology, you would be more than puzzled why the very stocks listed above are filtered out of sight!
Well, they are just three I am sharing with you here that are targetted for 5X to 10X returns.
These very stocks are off the radar of those who are driven by where the indexes are headed daily.
Yet away from the marketing hype of investment gurus and newsletters, away from the bulls and bears of the DJIA, away from the noise of CNBC news, are a group of REAL professional money managers and investors who made their wealth from uncovering DEEP value from stocks you would shun at first sight.
They look for deep imbalances in demand and supply in markets before the rest.
They identify sectors across economies that are priced for bankruptcies to exploit near zero risk for massive profits.
They take positions that are deemed unpopular yet have eventually proven to play their way to asymmetrical returns.
Let's take a closer look at each one listed above.
Do they look like long-term investment opportunity of a lifetime?
Paladin Energy (PND:ASX)
The nuclear power industry is consuming more uranium than before the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi incident, with growth predominantly in China and India. European and US utilities are running down stockpiles and contract positions put in place before the Fukushima level-seven nuclear disaster.
Uranium exploration spend has decreased significantly, by about 90%, with active exploration on 670 projects in 2011 compared with 90 projects now. More than 40-million pounds of uranium has also been taken out of the supply side in recent years.
Paladin will benefit when long-term contracting returns, since the rate of development of new mines cannot match the growth case and are unable to respond in time to price increases. There is potential for short-term price hikes in the uranium market. Mines currently on care and maintenance have a significant restart timeline advantage, compared with yet to be developed mines.
Where will demand for uranium come from?
Nuclear energy is a low-cost and low-emission baseload energy source, in a world focused on mitigating carbon emissions and global warming.
China plans to have 56 nuclear reactors operating by 2020 and 180 reactors by 2030 to reduce its reliance on coal-fired power. India will follow suit, with 21 reactors planned for operation by 2031, while Saudi Arabia has announced it will operate 17 new reactors by then.
With the electric vehicle market expected to expand from two-million vehicles worldwide in 2018 to an anticipated ten-million in 2025 and 28-million in 2030, nuclear energy is a clean, realisable energy source to power electric vehicle charging stations.
Across the board, we are starting to see uranium stocks lift off.
What exposure should one have on Uranium miners? At current levels, we see this as a gift.
TEREX CORP (NYSE: TEX)
Infrastructure is the only way to fight a COVID-19 recession in the US. Infrastructure projects create economic growth. The US is 30 years behind on its infrastructure. Its roads are under-maintained and its electricity lines cause fires in California owing to insufficient investment.
Trump is now calling for a US$2 trillion budget for infrastructure spend. Think of a lot of demand for cement, steel, copper and equipments. This is where we're going to cause inflation. Note that cement stocks have been beaten down for a long time with investors treating such stocks like toxic waste.
When searching the globe for deep value stock that are targetted for 10X returns at low risk price, Terex Corp is among our first ports of call.
EQT Corporation (NYSE: EQT)
Natural gas has risen while oil has fallen. Natural gas stocks will be one of the big beneficiaries from a decline in shale activity.
The US has geared itself up for an endless supply of cheap natural gas. 30% to 40% of natural gas produced in the US is a by-product of shale oil extraction. Now what happens if shale oil production decreases? There will be less natural gas production. Now this becomes a problem since the US is highly dependent on huge supply of cheap natural gas.
Conventional natural gas companies who produce natural gas not as a by-product of oil fracking will stand to big winners from the demise of shale.
The market is starting to figure out.......
The market has responded with stronger natural gas prices despite lower natural gas demand from Covid-19 related effects. And some larger natural gas producer equities have shot higher, perhaps pricing in expectations of future increases in natural gas prices.
